1. About Skill to Bill
Skill to Bill ("the Service", "we", "us") is a subscription-based order management platform designed for makeup artists and beauty professionals. The Service provides tools for booking management, client communication, invoicing, and revenue tracking.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Service
- You must be a resident of India or operating a business in India
- You must provide accurate and complete information during registration
- One account per makeup artist / studio. Multiple accounts are not permitted.
3. Subscription and Payment
Plans available:
- Monthly: ₹2,499 per month (inclusive of all applicable taxes)
- Yearly: ₹11,999 per year (inclusive of all applicable taxes)
All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and inclusive of 18% GST. Payment is due at the start of each billing cycle. Failure to pay will result in suspension of access until payment is received.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days written notice to active subscribers.
4. Free Trial
New accounts may be eligible for a 7-day free trial. The trial provides full access to all features. No credit card is required to start the trial. After the trial period ends, a paid subscription is required to continue using the Service.
5. Refund Policy
We offer the following refund policy in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019:
- 7-day refund window: If you are not satisfied after your first paid month or year, contact us within 7 days of payment for a full refund
- Mid-cycle cancellations: No partial refunds are provided for unused days within a billing cycle after the 7-day window
- Trial period: No charges apply during the free trial; no refund is needed if you cancel before trial ends
- Technical issues: If the Service is unavailable for more than 48 consecutive hours due to our fault, you are entitled to a pro-rated refund for that period
To request a refund, email support@skilltobill.app with your registered username and reason.
6. Account Responsibilities
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- You may not share your account credentials with others
- You may not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorised purpose
7. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Use the Service to store or transmit unlawful, harmful, or offensive content
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without permission
- Resell or sublicense the Service to third parties
- Impersonate any person or entity
Violation of this section may result in immediate account suspension without refund.
8. Your Data and Content
You retain full ownership of all data and content you create within the Service (bookings, client records, invoices). By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to store and process this data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
We will never claim ownership of your business data, use it for our own marketing, or share it with third parties without your consent. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
9. Service Availability and Uptime
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee 100% uptime. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible. We are not liable for losses resulting from temporary unavailability due to maintenance, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control.
10. Intellectual Property
All aspects of the Skill to Bill platform — including the software, design, branding, and content created by us — are our exclusive intellectual property. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from our platform without prior written permission.
The name "Skill to Bill" and associated logo are proprietary marks of the company.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted under Indian law:
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service
- Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim
- We are not responsible for losses arising from your own errors in data entry or booking management
12. Termination
By you: You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting support@skilltobill.app. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
By us: We may suspend or terminate your account with notice if you breach these Terms. We may terminate with 30 days notice for any other reason. In such cases, a pro-rated refund will be issued for unused paid days.
Upon termination, your data will be retained for 90 days before permanent deletion, giving you time to export.
13. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
We encourage resolving disputes first through our Grievance Officer. For unresolved disputes, the Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission may also be approached in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify active subscribers of material changes with at least 14 days notice via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
